We work with dozens of hand-picked independent shops, small producers and local market stalls to bring you the very best food and drink. Every product we sell comes directly from small independent businesses who are expert at what they do.
They prepare your order just for you – exactly as if you’d shopped in person. Feel free to leave them a note to let them know any special requests you may have, like whether you’d like your fish filleted, how thick you like your steaks cut, or how ripe you prefer your cheese.
When it comes to food, small is better; just try some freshly baked bread from the E5 Bakehouse, some day-boat caught mackerel from Jonathan Norris Fishmonger’s, or a 100-day free range university-educated chicken from the Ginger Pig.
Products sold in supermarkets need a long shelf life, to be mass-produced and to survive being transported long distances. That means the products they sell are often less fresh, heavily processed, and contain hidden additives and preservatives. Most the fresh products we sell are simply not available from the big chains or online supermarkets.
Supporting independent shops is good for everyone; the small producers who supply them, the local people and services they employ, and anyone who wants more than supermarkets and fast food outlets in their neighbourhood.
Every purchase you make nourishes the neighbourhoods these shops are part of, helping to build communities that are more than just somewhere you go to sleep.
We bring together butchers, bakers and pasta-makers (and many more shop types!), making it easy to shop locally in a way that fits with our busy lives. Our website and app, same-day delivery and convenient one-hour slots allow you to buy from lots of brilliant small shops in one go, make one payment and have everything delivered together – all in time for dinner.
Making our customers happy is one of the reasons we love what we do at Hubbub. Our award-winning customer service team from cooks to coders is on call six days a week.
Contact us for help placing your order, advice on what to buy or how to cook it, to tell us what you like (and what we could do better), or anything else. That way, we can make sure we always look after you.
